Castle is lovely to see inside is nicely set out. Could do with notices explaining what each room is or whise room. Don't like headphones. Atmosphere great. Gardens are beautiful

We brought a picnic and sat in the lovely grounds admiring the many sculptured gardens, water cascades and the castle as the backdrop. It was our 2nd visit, so we mainly explored the grounds and our children played in the fantastic play area. Play area catered for both our 5 and 10 year old. They enjoyed the falcon and Eagle experience, as well as spent 1/2 hour getting lost in the maze. Will definitely recommend as a destination for when other friends or relatives visit.

Very beautiful and well maintained grounds. The (sort-of-more-like-stately-home) castle is interesting to look around, and the audio guide was interesting to listen to on the way round. All of the staff were really friendly. The tickets were quite expensive but it gets you in for a year which makes them better value for money, and I'd certainly like to visit again in the summer to see the gardens (our last visit was January).

Justifiably called ‘the prettiest castle in England’, Leeds Castle is certainly worth a visit. The interiors were converted in the 1920s to those a country house so the castle vibe is lost but they do beautifully evoke the charm of that age but it is hugely expensive to visit. Cheaper to book online but still overpriced and the inclusion of further free visits during the year is of no benefit at all to visitors from abroad. They even ensure tickets can’t be handed on by taking your photo - that’s really small minded. As for the gift shop, well, a £60 cushion cover! Restaurant was good even though our waitress was a charm school dropout. A lovely day but a slight feeling of being fleeced.

Amazing something for everyone. Fab day out Excellent value for money as I was allowed free entry to support my disabled husband

Stunning medieval castle. Connections with 6 English queens. Exterior is glorious. Feminine. Surrounded by a small lake On entry such a difference. Formulaic “ make-over” by rich vapid Anglo-American heiress. Hence maybe a con if you are expecting royal connections. Well for some reason they were playing the Abduction Speech. ?? It seems the castle still controlled by Lady whatshername trust. For it’s really about her. And her. And oh her. Seems she didn’t want National Trust getting? ? Maybe they would’ve focused on the actual history of the graceful castle. The Eleonors. Katherine’s And Joanna’s who were actually part of English history. And the wife’s and mothers of kings Lady what’s her name was neither. Tasteless interior with dreadful wallpaper.

A truly lovely day spent at the well kept gardens and grounds, fun in the maze a history tour of the castle, Lunch in the restaurant which I must say was outstanding the chef and team should be proud I had Brie and my wife had the quiche all home made with passion 10/10 we cannot wait to return on the ticket that gives entry all year round it is really good value .

Went for a day out with friends and had such a lovely day. Aside from the staff in the shop who were a little less friendly than everyone else, every single person we interacted with was absolutely outstanding, so friendly and helpful they made our day. It was a trip for a friend’s special birthday so thank you to everyone from the ferrymen, the restaurant staff, the team looking after the birds of prey. An absolute credit to the castle which was interesting and in such a beautiful setting. Tickets let you go back within the year so good value. Restaurant food was delicious, such lovely ladies who looked after us beautifully and made it a day to remember.
