Captain Mike did his job, got us out to the Na Pali coast and back safely. The crew was efficient in getting us underway and serving drinks and food. One crew member (not Cinzia) was professional and personable. She gave information about what we were seeing and the cultural, historical and movie facts. She was very attentive to the comfort and safety of the passengers, tracking each person visually, asking if anyone wanted something, if they were feeling ok and standing by each person as they walked the boat to help steady them. We had several people who were sea sick one woman was very sick most of the trip, and another older woman fighting not to throw up all the way back. The ocean was pretty rough at certain points. On the way back is when the trip soured. Cinzia’s discussing previous passengers throwing up, in particular an older woman, and laughing about it while there was an older woman sitting next to her fighting not to throw up. This went on for about 20 minutes and many of the passengers became uncomfortable with the topic and quit making eye contact and even avoided looking in her direction. Then she changed topic and moved on to her “anniversary” with captain Mike, reading her Instagram post about him to the passengers. Cinzia showed her immaturity and was unprofessional in her job. The trip is about the passengers not your personal life or making fun of passengers. Be aware that you may get rained on, it may be cloudy so you can’t see the sunset, the ocean can be rough (no one controls nature) but the trip was worth it. The Na Pali coast is spectacularly beautiful and seeing the dolphins swimming and jumping along the boat was a treat.

Truly the best thing we did during our entire visit. The tour description clearly states that this is an adventure, and that is a completely accurate way of putting it. I absolutely love being on boats and was pleased to find out that the description was accurate. The catamaran absolutely hauls through the ocean, the waves are strong and you will get wet, so this is not for you if you’re looking for a slow, dull sail. Luckily it was exactly what my husband and I wanted, and we had the time of our lives. Plenty of food and nonstop drinks topped off the breathtaking views. We even pulled under a waterfall and got to see some of the caves up close. The crew was phenomenal and just as much a part of the adventure as the rest of us. Would do this again in a heartbeat.

While the view of the coastline is beautiful, be aware this is NOT a “sail” or cruise. This is a very aggressive boat ride that mimics a 25mph car crash every 30 seconds for about an hour and half of the tour. The crew was excellent and very helpful to the people who fell and got sick. Some may find this enjoyable but when it’s marketed as a sunset sail, it’s not really a true representation of what to expect. Even if given the warning right before leaving, “it’s like a roller coaster”, that is still not accurate. It would be better to set actual expectations with guests beforehand so they can decide if they want to do the tour and not spring it on them at the time of take off. I get that you can’t control the weather but you can be clear about what’s truly possible on the trip. I do not recommend.

This is wayyyy toooo long a tour. The views of the coast line are appreciated from the water: a cave, waterfalls… but it doesn’t justify 6+ hour tour. This late in the season, we were fortunate to see 1 whale and a pod of dolphins. You can’t guarantee seeing wildlife. That was the high light. Other than that, it’s an informative crew talking about Kauai and water. The return was rough. Several people got sea sick. The crew did their best the with buckets and ginger candy. One of the bathrooms had water on the floor the entire cruise. Pick a shorter cruise.

Me and my wife had an amazing sunset trip with Holo Holo Charters, everything went smoothly and the attention to detail was fantastic. The captain was very knowledgeable, fun and very funny (he sounded like Beetlejuice!), we felt completely safe on the boat and were well looked after by all the staff. The snacks, main meal and drinks were all very tasty and plentiful. We got to see some amazing sights of the Na Pali coast and even saw two military planes fly low and managed to catch whales breaching! The captain spent as much time as he could tracking the whales which was an awesome treat. We were even given commemorative aluminium cups to remember our amazing trip. Thank you, Holo Holo Charters, for making our trip to Kauai one to remember!

We had a wonderful boat ride along the coast, enjoyed the 4.5 hour sunset dinner sailing. Captain Max and staff were very welcoming, kind and informative. Food was delicious and we saw whales and dolphins.

We felt taken care of by the crew on this amazing cruise. Although a few of us felt a bit queasy at times, the sights we witnessed were worth it. The coastline is breathtaking!

Best Catamaran Sail ever and this is not our first rodeo! This catamaran is impeccably maintained and immaculate! From their office to the crew, they were very professional, courteous, and friendly. This trip offered gorgeous views in a smaller group setting which was ideal. You can wander around the boat while enjoying a cocktail or snack and taking in the spectacular views. The staff made sure everyone was enjoying the trip and the food & beverage service was great. They had a good selection of drinks and there was plenty for everyone's liking. The appetizers and dinner were very good and there was plenty for all to enjoy. Loved this 4.5hr trip and would definitely go again!

This was the highlight of our trip with great views of the awe inspiring Napili Coast, unbeatable. We had lots of Whale action and Dolphins along the way. The staff was beyond amazing with food and drinks galore. Captain Cole was a great host and ensured this trip was the BEST!
