What to expect
Little Havana
This walking tour takes you through a humble but evolving neighborhood, boasting a kaleidoscope of culture, traditional customs, and vivid colors. Walk down Memorial Boulevard to learn where the history begins, visit local mom and pop establishments like a fruit marketplace, bakery, apparel store (guayaberas) and cigar shop. While no food is offered on this tour you will sample freshly brewed Cuban coffee. Your tour guide will answer any questions about the history, the people, and the politics. You will introduced to Cuban exiles and the second generation who run the mom-and-pop shops. Finally, you'll have the distinct honor of meeting and talking with survivors of Bay of Pigs battle, as they will share their insight and stories of factual accounts.
