Brompton Cemetery

We will explore beautiful Brompton Cemetery which is also a Royal Park! Along the way we will see beautiful tombs and architecture as well as graves belonging to famous names such as Dr John Snow, Emmeline Pankhurst and Chief Long Wolf of the Sioux nation. Brompton Cemetery also is home to a mysterious tomb that may be the only functioning Time Machine on planet Earth!

Kensal Green Cemetery

Another of the Magnificent Seven cemeteries that the Victorians built. At over a mile in length, Kensal Green is not just the resting place of thousands but its in places overgrown nature make it an important nature reserve as well as home to some of the finest tombs anywhere. Amongst others we will visit the graves of Charles Babbage (a Victorian computer pioneer), Marigold Churchill (the baby daughter of Winston), Royalty, Writers, Engineers and Sir William Beatty, one of the forgotten heroes of the famous Battle of Trafalgar.

Bunhill Fields

On the extended tour one of the old London cemeteries which became so overcrowded and unsanitary that it prompted the Magnificent Seven cemeteries to be built. Beautiful but very crowded we will briefly visit the graves important figures such as writers John Bunyan, Daniel Defoe, poet William Blake and Susanna Wesley, mother of the founder of Methodism, John Wesley

St Pancras Old Church

On the extended tour option, we will visit the old St Pancras churchyard and see an amazing site.
