    I purchased a ticket to the Louvre Museum through TripAdvisor weeks in advance to avoid stress on the day of my visit. But when I arrived at the museum, I had no ticket, no QR code, and no clear instructions on how to enter. The contact number they provided was not working at all, and the tour operator listed in the booking never responded. There was no on-site office to get help, and I couldn’t reach anyone through the app or email. Because of this, I missed my scheduled visit, and I had no time to rebook — I’m leaving the next day. They completely messed up my plan, and I wasted both time and money. This was not a tour, just a simple museum ticket — yet the experience was frustrating and unacceptable. I won’t be using TripAdvisor again, and I recommend others be very careful when booking through them.

    I was sent tickets but when I went to the museum they told me the tickets were not valid and that I had been scammed. It was heartbreaking as this was a family trip and visiting Louvre would have been a highlight of our vacation.

    My wife and I had two days planned for the Louvre, Sept 18th and 19th at 11AM. We arrived at the meeting place ahead of time and NO representatives for Epicstatus Global was present to give us entry tickets. Many other tours were there but not Epic. We phoned the number given us and a male voice answered but immediately switched to record a message. After many calls we waited until 11:30 to approach Louvre staff with our problem and ask what we had to do to enter. Our vouchers were not good without a ticket and for that day we were told to come back at 2PM and we may or may not get in. After viewing the reviews of Epicstatus, we had no choice but to cancel the 19th with them, they could not be trusted. We immediately rushed across the street to book Paris City Vision for the 19th. They only had a tour opening which we paid $211 , but we had no other option with our days running out in Paris. After reading the reviews I blame Tripadvisor's staff for putting the welfare of our vacation into the hands of a con artists company.

    It's risky. My wife and I purchased two reservations for the Louvre in Paris. I say reservations because we never actually acquired tickets to enter the Louvre. There seemed to be some kind of of contingency in play. We received a voucher on our phone for the date and entry time time for the self-guided tour. But at the Louvre, gatekeepers said they could not convert the vouchers into tickets, so we could not enter the art museum. We have applied to get our money back. Viator said they would get back to us within 7 days after they investigated. We seemed to be corresponding with bots at Viator rather than real people.
