Magnetic Island

Sail along the beautiful Magnetic Island coastline searching for the perfect spot to anchor for a few hours. The hosts onboard will check-in and find out if you have any preferences on the bay to visit and provide recommendations based on the wind and weather conditions on the day.

Radical Bay

One of our favourite spots to anchor is Radical Bay, a protected bay which is accessible solely by boat or hiking. It is surrounded by breathtaking granite boulders and striking rock formations, this secluded gem offers a beautiful beach and crystal clear waters. Once anchored, guests can dive into the water for a swim, wander along the shore, or chill out on the giant inflatable mat alongside the boat, perhaps with a glass of wine. After some fun and relaxation, a delicious lunch sourced from local produce is served, featuring prawns and an antipasto platter. You will also be served Australian Organic Wines, local beers or soft drinks while enjoying your onboard lunch. *In the event of northerly winds, we may alternatively anchor at Arthur Bay or Florence Bay.

Magnetic Island

Enjoy a return sail back to Nelly Bay, either relaxing in the bean bags or try your turn at the helm.

Clayton was the perfect skipper, his voice as calming as the ocean, waterfalls, and private bays we visited. My other solo friend, Jesskarkar was an absolute pleasure to spend half a day on the fast boat. 3 Bays in 3 Ways... and that lunch !! Oh la la

Wonderful day out. The crew were fantastic. Enjoyed the view as we sailed to our swimming stop. Although we had to wear stinger suits the water was warm and very inviting. Saw lots of turtles and fish even though we didn’t have snorkelling gear. Suggest you hire some to take with you. After a swim lunch was served. So yummy and so much to eat. The wine from the Hunter Valley was also delicious. Sailed back to Nelly Bay with full sails whilst relaxing in our bean bags looking at the coastline. Thoroughly enjoyed our day and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful sailing trip on the magnificent 58 foot Pilgrim from Nelly Bay round to beautiful Radical Bay. the lunch with fresh prawns, antipasto, cured meats and a great selection of cheeses was excellent. They also catered for our son's more particular tastes with a ham and avocado bread roll. We only had 6 guess on board with the skipper and a crew so it made for a very relaxed, personal experience with tons of space. There were bean bags either side of the mast for chilling out on the trip. Once we anchored up, they put out a big inflatable mat, which was great for young and big kids alike. It had been windy for the past few weeks so water visibility not so good (thought sheltered in Radical Bay) so we didn't try snorkelling, but I understand it's good in the right conditions. I got to skipper the boat for much of the sail back, which as a sailor, I loved. So very highly recommended the whole trip o n a beautiful boat with great service and very chilled.
