This tour is a must-do if you want to immerse into the Mauritian culinary world and culture. Adrien not only introduced us to some very tasty dishes and snacks that we would not have encountered by just going to Mauritian restaurants but was also very knowledgable of Mauritius and particularly Mahebourg's history. It was a very interesting and also fun experience with a very friendly guide.

Fabulous food, lots of local history, multilingual guides. The tour was excellent in every aspect. The food just kept flowing no half measures here honestly have a small breakfast you will be so full. The added bonus was the motorboat ride to the remote second retreat. A fabulous day with lovely humerus knowledgeable guides.

This is my third food tour with Taste Buddies and they never disappoint.
The tour of Mahebourg was marvellous, the food was fantastic and Dada was a gracious host and spectacular story teller.
If your looking for an interesting, enjoyable day, with great food, this tour is highly recommended.

Informative and tasty street food tour with 2 nice guides (Adrien, Dada), typical asian food (i.a. stir fried noodles, peking duck, bao burger, sesame balls), short visit of a local market
all in all it is worthwhile, however, it would be interesting to taste some less familiar chinese dishes

Despite a storm preventing us from going to sea, our Guide Ashnan spared no time in introducing us to the city, its cultural heritage and of course its culinary specialties. Everything was presented to us with passion and gluttony. We enjoyed ourselves. You really have to be on an empty stomach to fully enjoy it.

Adrien super guide, il est arrivé savait déjà nos prénoms on a bien rigolé avec lui et avons appris pleins de chose sur l histoire de Mahebourg et de Maurice , dégustation au top, j aurais aimer plus faire le tour du marché ça été un peu trop rapide.
Nous devions faire du bateau pour les mangroves mais notre circuit c est terminé avec la charmante famille qui fait des merveilles qui sera une super expérience gustative et notre eau de coco j aurais juste aimé savoir pourquoi le tour de bateau ne c est pas fait je suis un peu resté sur ma fin
mais sinon super expérience .
