What to expect
Observatorio Mazatlán 1873
A place to know the past and enjoy the present. Sitting on the top of Cerro del Vigía and 75 meters above sea level, this building known as Observatorio was initially built by the people of Mazatlán as a military observation post, hence the name Cerro del Vigía.
One of the most popular tourist attraction, it is located in Mazatlan downtown and was built in 1837.
The Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception is the main religious building in the city of Mazatlan, in Baroque-Revival style of Sinaloa, Mexico, and home of the Catholic Diocese of Mazatlan. It is located in the historical center.
The Malecón (boardwalk) of Mazatlán is to be considered one of the longest in the world. Its length is about 8.5 km along the Pacific coast. Along the Malecón are high cliffs, monuments, roundabouts, historical buildings, hotels, etc. The Malecón is composed of a series of roadways with designated space for pedestrians. The names of these roads vary depending on the stage or time of their construction.
