This ended up being the highlight of our visit to Budapest. Great experience from pickup to drop off. Very knowledgeable guide and fun trip for both old an young. The park on its own without the guid would not have been that great as it's the background to why it's there and each of the statues that is interesting. We also got to re-fill the Trabant on the way back which was great fun!

My family and I did this tour with Judit on our last full day in Budapest and it made for a wonderful way to provide some additional context to everything we had learned during our time in the Hungary. Judit was a wonderful tour guide sharing fascinating information about life under Communism and in the years leading up to and following 1989. Getting picked up and transported in her Trabi was so much fun and added to the experience as well. Judit also provide excellent information about the statues in the park such that we came away with so much more than if we had only used a guidebook or an audio guide. We would all highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to better understand the history and context of the statues in Memento Park and there is no better way to get there than in Judit's Trabi!

What a fantastic experience! We loved our food tour the night before but this Trabant ride to Memento Park with Miki’s wonderful explanation of the statues and history scored a 10/10 from every member of the family, including the scowling teenager. A full on sensory experience complete with original “air con” (open windows) and admiring glances from the old blokes of Budapest who gave thumbs up and beeped horns as we passed. The statues are also incredible, coming to life with warm and balanced detail from our guide (who can also be found being charming to tourists in St Matthias church apparently).

This is one of the best experiences of many on this trip. We booked a Trabant transfer and the guided tour. There is nothing better than someone passionate about their subject and who is a joy to be with. This place is well considered and designed with stunning artifacts of the communist era. Our guide contextualised this experience beautifully. We could have spent more than the three hours we had here. Try the video for something unique. This was spectacular.

Judit was my guide. She was very nice, smart and friendly and with a good knowledge of the Trabant and the statues in the park. The whole session was 3 hours and I enjoyed every minute of it - wished it could have been longer. Very interesting place made all the better by Judit's charm and knowledge. The ride in the Trabant was also an experience. A small noisy car, but great fun. Recommended when you visit Budapest
