We went to some beautiful wineries and the hosts were fun and informative. Paul, our guide, was terrific and provided lots of interesting history about Adelaide.

My wife and I were looking for a more intimate wine tasting tour of Barossa and boy did we find a great one! Mathew provided us with a fun and very educational trip through four wineries in the valley, sampling lots of different wines in different areas. A fantastic lunch was provided at yet another winery. There were only 3 guests in our group so lots of engagement and chatting. This tour was worth every penny!

Great to see Barossa Valley and listening to Paul’s stories about region and the different wineries we visited. The four wineries were a great range of the variety within Barossa Valley. Lunch was delicious.

We had an excellent day in the Barossa Valley with Tom as our guide, who was very informative about the local area as well as the wine producers. All four of the cellar doors tasting sessions we had were excellent, showcasing a great selection of wines and giving very good information about each wine. Lunch was also excellent at Jacobs Creek winery! Thoroughly recommend this trip as being a small group you get a very personal touch and our fellow travellers were great fun too!

We had a wonderful day in the Barossa Valley tasting wine. Paul was a phenomenal guide who was very knowledgeable about wine and the valley. The four cellar doors we visited where all quite different and interesting. And, lunch was a dining experience. We would highly recommend this tour.

We spent 2 excellent days on tours of Barossa and McLaren Vale with Paul and Matt. Both guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. They took care to chose the cellar doors and wineries that suited our interests. The Lunch at Harvest Kitchen was truly exceptional with a wonderful selection of sharing plates. They also gave us excellent recommendations for Restaurants in Adelaide and Glenelg. Highly recommend

Matthew, Small Batch Wine Tours, put together a day of tasting at four diverse wineries that showed us the variety of Barossa Valley producers - large and small vineyards, all with excellent wines and generous lists for tasting. He was flexible too because he included wineries that met each of our requests. Matthew has a great depth of knowledge about the Barossa Valley, wine making and vineyards around the world. He shared his expansive knowledge in a way that was easy to understand. Our lunch, included in the price of the tour, was served family style and was plentiful and delicious. Prior to our tour Matthew sent a list of some of his favorite restaurants in Adelaide. An unexpected and much appreciated plus. If you choose Small Batch Wine Tours you'll be very glad you did.
