What to expect
The Crater Trial offers the opportunity to walk through the only cloud forest in the Pacific of Nicaragua. You'll begin to climb the volcano by 4x4 truck, stopping for a delicious local coffee at one of the plantations along the way. Once near the top you'll enjoy a short, one and half hour guided hike along the trail, passing through a variety of landscapes. We may see howler monkeys and white-faced monkeys, sloths, dart frogs, and the endemic Mombacho salamander along the way. The dwarf forest has fumaroles and it is possible to encounter flora and fauna of the local ecosystem. Towards the North you can see the city of Granada, the Islets of Granada, the Asese Peninsula, the Apoyo Lagoon and the Masaya Volcano National Park.

Canopy Activity! The Canopy Tour is designed for all families. It has a 2 km route, 17 platforms, 11 double lines and 3 suspension bridges, which allows you to experience acrobatics created for clients such as: Superman, Monkey, Tarzan or The Butterfly.
