    This was the greatest experience of our trip without question. We saw all the major monkeys and birds of this forest. Our guide was absolutely amazing. Eduardo was passionate and informative. He told wonderful stories and made a huge effort to make sure we got to see the stunning Quetzal.

    Our guide Eduardo was very kind and knowledgeable. Explained a lot about the nature. And showed us a Toucan nest. Lucky to see a Quetzal.

    Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, and got as excited as we did when seeing all the different birds in the canopy. This was a great way to see the forest. I would highly recommend getting the guide because they are very good at spotting wildlife and knowing the different characteristics of the different birds. Otherwise, you are just walking on the bridges without explanation (I think).

    My husband and I did the 3:00 pm tour so we would finish around sunset. View was gorgeous from the top even with some cloud covering. Horses looked well taken care of and were perfect for beginner and advanced riders. We even got to gallop a couple times. Highly recommend. And the brief sugarcane experience at the end was fun too!

    We did the Sky Walk with a great guide, Roy, who was very informative. He spotted a green viper, many birds and a sloth! Totally enjoyable easy walk, I highly recommend.

We meet there to avoid confusion as you might see many tour guides and tourists at the park's entrance. Our Tour Guide will be next to the entrance door of the coffee shop. Then, our Tour Guide will take you to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reception, so you can get your entrance tickets, which you must purchase separately. Once you have your tickets, you will enter the Monteverde Cloud Forest with our Tour Guide, who will lead you on a 2-hour to 2.5-hour walk to learn about the importance of the Monteverde Cloud Forest, potentially spotting animals* along the way. Our Tour Guide will use his HD spotting scope throughout the walk to help you take amazing photos of flora and fauna. You're free to ask questions, and our Tour Guide will do their best to bring light to those questions. Finally, you will return to Cafe Colibri for coffee and snacks (included with the tour) to wrap things up. At this point, you can ask your final questions to our Tour Guide. *There is no guarantee you will see animals on this tour because the forest is unpredictable.
