Your guide will pick you up very early (05h30) from your Maun based accommodation in a game drive vehicle. You will then head northwards to Moremi Game Reserve. 50km into your day trip, you’ll pass the buffalo fence and game viewing will begin.

Stretch your legs and enjoy a morning tea/coffee and light breakfast at South Gate, the nearest entrance from Maun to Moremi - 99 km away from Maun. As we enter the reserve shortly after breakfast, be on the lookout for a diversity of ecosystems which come with an amazing array of wildlife sightings, birding and natural beauty. Your professional guide, using his knowledge and experience of the area will ensure that you enjoy the very best of what the reserve has to offer. Here sightings of elephant, hippo, crocodile, buffalo, impala, giraffe, tsessebe, zebra, blue wildebeest, sable antelope, greater kudu, red lechwe, and waterbuck are common. Other equally incredible wildlife species that can be spotted are lion, leopard, cheetah, spotted hyena and African wild dog. The reserve is also home to a surprising diversity of birds, from water birds to forest dwellers, so expect excellent birding too.
