We will take the metro in Retiro and after five stops we will arrive at La Elipa, a non-touristy neighborhood known for its tranquility. Here we will try some dishes from one of the most recognized cuisines in the world that combines unique ingredients and flavors (the same dish can be sweet, salty, spicy and sour) and has its roots in the Inca peoples thousands of years ago. We will try ceviche, a wide variety of potatoes, fish, shellfish, chili peppers, and corn-based recipes. Here we will talk about the complex relationship between Spain and Latin America, a relationship that was born in the year 1492, when Christopher Columbus arrived on the continent in search of the Indies and that continues today.
