Our tour degins with an introduction to the beauty of the Greek landscape which inspired a world of myths and stories created by the ancient Greeks. We visit the unfinished Kouros Colossal archaic statue, known also as Apollo, that has been (sleeping) in a garden for centuries and learn about the dramatic story of its discovery and wonder at early Greek sculpture.

Making our way back south our final stop for the day is in yet another part of the island blessed with fertile soil, Eggares there we vitit the villages traditional 19th centry olive press and gain precious insight into practices and a way of life that now belongs to the past now long gone.
