Our kayak trip was cancelled last minute and we happily were able to reschedule with Naxos Sailing. It was a wonderful experience! Captain George gave information about the islands, knew the best areas to go on this windy day and brought us to a lovely area for lunch! We had an amazing time on our first sailing trip and would definitely recommend!

Do not book this tour. I’ve spent time on this tour last year and still regretted. I’ve contacted customer service with no support. Attached is my communication with Viator/Tripadvisor.
False advertisement: First, it's not even remotely "semi-private," the boat is filled with a bunch of other groups (mainly the boat driver's female friends) who are NOT paying customers. These girls were given special privileges to operate, utilize comfortable seatings with shades, and even handle the steering wheel to operate the boat. The consensus was these girls were the boat driver and his friends' girlfriends.
Unprofessionalism: One person, who was an elderly lady, on board wasn't feeling well and asked all "paying guests" if we could skip the last dive and we all agreed. Yet, the crew refused to accommodate us. This resulted in the elderly lady nearly passing out due to excessive heat exposure. On top of this, the bad time management caused our tour to extend an hour beyond the time listed. The boat driver and his friends were late for nearly everything. We arrived at our meeting spot to conclude the cruise over an hour late, causing us to nearly miss out on the last tour we booked.
Mistreatment: The crew routinely kicked all "paying guests" out of the shaded bench, so their girlfriends could sit and pose for photos, while the rest of us got severe sunburn (two of the victims were part of our group). They wouldn't let us sit anywhere else outside of the uncomfortable side of the boat, which was extremely painful. To make matters worse, they often yelled commands at everyone, making it difficult to have a good time with their aggressive behavior. One guy on board drank way too much, and they still kept offering him alcohol despite clearly being intoxicated. Honestly, they should be investigated for how careless, inappropriate, and irresponsible they were throughout the whole cruise.
To provide some rebuttal to the claim that we showed up late: We were the second group that showed up. When we arrived, the boat driver was still waiting for another group to join us. In addition, we showed up at the exact same time as the boat driver's girlfriends. Therefore, this claim that we were late is false.
Conclusion: The bad customer experience, mistreatment, and false advertisement have led us to submit this complaint and request.
All of us have booked with TripAdvisor before and are loyal customers, this is the first time ever we all had to file a complaint. This is a serious case for us and we need to get this sorted before we proceed with directing this over to TripAdvisor management.

Travelled from Canada to Naxos and planned this sailing day to celebrate one of my friend's birthdays.
It was an early morning start and was a little chilly considering the time of year we went, but the views leaving the port in the morning were very pretty.
Due to the weather, the original trip we hoped to go on was unavailable (it happens!), but we still got to see many noteworthy attractions and Captain George did a great job at explaining the history and significance of what we were seeing.
We stopped a few times to swim, one time being into a cave. They provided a small snack and beverages and also took us to a different small island to enjoy lunch. It is worth noting that this restaurant very up many stairs and I feel this was difficult for some of the members of our group. Lunch was great though!
Unfortunately, we did not see any wildlife or marine animals, once again, it happens. Impossible to guarantee these things.
Overall, it was lovely getting out on the water and enjoying the boat ride.
Captain George is quite the character, very funny and endearing.

I was on one day trip to Koufonisia with Theosos. It was great pleasure to sail with this captain. Passenger may feel that they are safe, captain knows Cyclades backwards and forwards. Nice atmosphere on boat, local snacks. I really recommend this company and captain!

We had a great time! Very relaxing trip with amazing views of Small Cyclades. Great guides with lots of fun facts on the islands history and geography. You can even steer a yacht.
