The cruise on the Katherine River through the gorge is simply amazing. The staff were super helpful and informative. The big downer for us was that we got served under cooked Barramundi that was raw and cold in the middle. This happened to the other 2 people at our table as well. Just not good enough for the price we paid. It was my wife’s birthday and certainly took the edge of what should have been an amazing night.

We had a great afternoon! You meet at the peer where you check in with staff and let them know any food preferences. You then jump on a boat and do the 2 hour 2 gorge cruise. Between the gorges there's a 500m path to get to the next boat. It's very well built and easy to walk. Lots of beautiful spots to stop and take a photo. On return to the last gorge, you get on the dinner boat that is all set up. A glass of sparkling when you jump in. Then you're off. Tables are of 6 - which I was first hesitant about, but the people we were with were SO lovely. Made the night even more fun. A shared platter comes out first, followed by the selected main and a dessert. Drinks are available to purchase throughout. When it got dark, they had spotlights shining against the land. Overall it was a great night. I'd highly recommend this over the standard cruise - it's well worth it!

Tour was really good, & we highly recommend it. The guide was fantastic, dinner was nice however steak was very over cooked (hence 4 stars) rest of meals good. I love hearing history & taking in sites & sunset from boat.

Our Katherine Gorge tour was amazing. Our guide provided an excellent insight into the local indigenous people and the history & fauna/ flora associated with the Gorge. It is a spectacular place to visit. The tour was topped off by an excellent dinner that would rival top class restaurants. The sunsets in the gorge are worth the visit alone. Definitely a highlight travel experience.

We had booked the Sunset Dinner Cruise expecting to have dinner on a boat in the gorge.. we were disappointed when we were then advised we were having dinner at the visitor centre, with no explanation as to why or any form of refund offered. We didn’t even get to see the nicest part of the sunset in the gorge as we were walking to the visitor centre from the boat ramp. Disappointing to say the least.

What an experience!! Worth every penny. The cruise guide gave so much information on the gorge and even talked about the rock art sites. The dinner cruise saw the gorge glowing in the sunset and the staff catered to every need! Food was cooked perfectly. Was stifling hot even while moving though.
