Oslofjord

A 50-minute guided sightseeing tour by a wooden sailing ship. The tour gives a fascinating view of the city's harbor and the green hills. We pass the ancient fortress of Akershus and picturesque islands in the inner part of the Oslo Fjord. We will pass The Oslo Opera House, housing The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet ensemble. The building has received many awards. You will also pass the new Munch Museum. Snap some pictures of the gorgeous scenery, and marvel at the tiny houses that dot the many islands around the area. Akershus Castle and Fortress (Akershus Slott og Festning)

This is a medieval castle in the Norwegian capital Oslo that was built to protect and provide a royal residence for the city. It is not known exactly when the construction of the castle started but it is believed that it took place around the late 1290s, by King Haakon V
