    Fantastic day. Well organised and clear communication leading up to our trip. The forecast was for bad weather so we were advised of change to programme which gave us best chance of getting our two dives in before weather turned. 2 of our party had tried scuba discovery before, 1 hadn’t and felt level of tuition was suitable for us all to enjoy. Mira was our guide/instructor for the day and was knowledgeable and looked after us all well.

    This was an amazing tour. Our group had 7 tourists on the boat. Five went on a snorkel tour. I and my companion went on the "beginner's scuba adventure." Our guide, Aamir (I probably have the spelling wrong), was fantastic. He was easy to understand, attentive, kind, patient, and was in no way pushy or tried to hurry us along or acted like we were a burden. If I took an Intermediate Scuba Class, I would want him as my instructor. The tour crew were very prompt to start (so don't be late). We boated out to a permitting point, checked in, then headed out to the scuba practice area. The first dive spot was only 2 or 3 meters deep-- mostly meant to practice basic scuba skills. After lunch on a small resort island, we went to a second scuba dive spot where we could dive to 9-10 meters. The first spot was a dead, abandoned coral reef. (Pretty depressing.) The second spot had areas of living circles reef with the corresponding fish. We even saw a sea turtle resting on the ocean floor. I unconditionally recommend this tour for someone wanting to try out scuba diving.

    My wife really wanted to try scuba diving but was a bit scared yet we decided to book a tour with Borneo Dream Travel and we don’t regret at all. Basir is a great instructor, at first he give us some exercises under water to make my wife feel more confident and it was very helpful as she did not have any diving experience and not very comfortable under water. During diving he showed us outstanding marine life sometimes using his flashlight and etc. We saw sharks, stingrays, blue stars, Nemo fish and lots of other species. I’ve been diving several times before but never saw such an incredible marine life this is the best diving ever!)

    We had a great time!! Amir guided us (My husband, my son and I) and he was friendly and pacient as well as cautious, he is a great instructor!!! We saw a turtle and different fish which he pointed out at us Andrew guided my nephews, and they gad a marvelous time as well The ship was very confortable, the equipment in excellent conditions and the door at lunch, delicious!! Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience

    What to expect

    Your journey begins by meeting us at DBKK Jetty in the heart of downtown Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. You arrive at the jetty at 08:45 on the day of your trip. Please meet our crew at the ‘DBKK Jetty Counter’ poster with the ‘Grab pick-up & drop-off’ signage inside DBKK Jetty (located in central Kota Kinabalu ). Here, you will meet our professional crew, who will brief you on the day's activities and schedule. The boat will depart at 09:00 sharp and head out into the local marine park, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, where your entertainment will begin. The morning session will consist of a verbal education session, where we will get used to the new equipment, enter the water, and learn some new scuba diving skills. This will be followed by a short dive on the same cylinder. After lunch, which we provide you will take part in a proper boat dive and explore an underwater reef with your RIAD Professional Instructor. Upon completion, we will return to DBKK Jetty at approximately 15:00/16:00

Here, you will meet our professional crew, who will brief you on the day's activities and schedule. The boat will depart at 09:00 sharp and head out into the local marine park, Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, where your entertainment will begin. The morning session will consist of a verbal education session, where we will get used to the new equipment, enter the water, and learn some new scuba diving skills. This will be followed by a short dive on the same cylinder.
