Valeria Pensini was the best guide I’ve ever had. She has enormous expertise and gave me a wonderful tour, telling me interesting facts about Padua, showing me many wonderful Padua sights and highlighting the back stories about them. Her guiding of the Scrovegni Chapel was particularly expert - before we went in, she suggested particular facets and frescoes to look at and why, and when we were in the chapel, she pointed them out to me. This meant I was really able to see a lot in the 15 mins visitors are allowed in the chapel. Thank you Valeria for a fabulous tour.

Scrovegni chapel. Despite the limited time in the room with the frescoes, our guide gave a wonderful explanation of the scenes depicted. It really enhanced our experience. We also had a nice, informative tour of the center of town. Our guide was very accommodating, making sure we could find the meeting spot, etc. Our tour was scheduled for 12:30-3:30; instead me met 12:15-2:30 and we felt the tour could have been a bit longer/more extensive.

I had such a poor guide that the day was nit at all what I expected. Her English was poor, her knowledge was basic and her personality was boring , somber and not suitable. My day was a great disappointment

Tullia was a knowledgeable and articulate guide and did a great job in prepping us for the Scrovegni Chapel, and during the Chapel visit itself. Also the visit to the University was interesting. 5 stars for Tullia. But the additional time spent walking around Padua was too simply too much. Need a more limited tour.

First of all our guide, Laura was just incredible. So knowledgeable and accommodating. Second, the sights speak for themselves. If you have a day to spend in Padua, you should do the walking tour, no question! Highlights were St Anthony's Cathedral and the Scrovegni Chapel but Laura also recommended a few other places such as the Pedrocchi Cafe.
