What to expect
This bustling Castle Square with its historic buildings is the heart of downtown Pamplona. Here you will learn about the influence that the American writer Ernest Hemingway had on modern day Pamplona.
Calle Estafeta
The Estafeta street is on of the streets where the Bull Run takes place during the nine-day festival of Saint Fermin. You will get an impression of how different things look during this festival.
This 1920s bullring is the final stop of the annual Running of the Bulls.
We walk along the fortifications and over the old city walls, where we can enjoy the panoramic views. We pass the remnants of a medieval pillory.
Pamplona’s cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption is a must see. Its cloister is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. Entrance to the cathedral is not included in this tour.
Cafe Iruna

Curva de Estafeta
The most spectacular point on the route of the annual Running of the Bulls.
Portal de Francia
This city wall's sole remaining gateway of the original 6 is the entrance to the city for pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. Here you will learn more about the significance of the pilgrims' Way to Santiago de Compostela.
The Santo Domingo pens are the place where the bulls rest the night before the event. Here we experience the excitement and the lively bustle of the annual San Fermin festival.
Ayuntamiento de Pamplona
The Town Hall and the Plaza Consistorial, the place where the so-called ‘Chupinazo’ rocket is fired marking the start of the San Fermín festivities every July 6th.
This church is dedicated to the city’s patron saint, San Saturnino. Discover the role Saint Saturnino played in the history of Pamplona. Entrance to the church is not included in this tour.
Paseo de Sarasate
In the last part of this tour we will cross the famous San Nicolás pintxo street, the tree-lined Paseo de Sarasate with its Monument to the "Fueros", the meaning of which will be explained by your guide.
