we did the Stromboli by night trip and it was good, the boat is large, clean and the staff helpful. We did get to see smoke coming from the volcano and once back on the boat and it was dark we did get to see some red and orange flashes coming from the volcanic eruptions

Excellent cruise in the Sicilian islands. Staff available, highly informed and up to their tasks. For those who book the trip, it is advisable to start from Vibo Marina rather than from the Port of Tropea, because parking is free and plentiful. In Tropea parking costs around 22 euros. Furthermore, coming from Lamezia you save a lot of time. The only suggestion is to make the seats numbered respecting the ticket number to avoid crowds to sit. Nothing to say about Commander Mirko. Excellent person. Go there. The flaw of the islands is 5 euros per head in taxes and they are dirty.

I spent a spectacular day with some friends I already knew and with others I met while sailing, what can I say, Panarea and Stromboli were truly amazing but the staff at the bar were truly wonderful, Filippo, Angela and Andrea made the difference by giving endless emotions, above all Filippo super star of the day. Day trip to Panarea and Stromboli by night with Sciara del Fuoco. Very positive experience. Very friendly and prepared staff. Be careful of the children who are allowed to enter the cabin and sit in the captain's chair to take a photograph and explanations suitable for them too. Captain Mirko (Sciara del Fuoco hydrofoil) was very knowledgeable and friendly both during the explanations and during the journey, transforming the hydrofoil into a disco upon arrival at the port of Tropea with young people and families dancing and having fun after a fantastic day at Aeolian. Highly recommended!!!
