What to expect

In this activity, we will visit a small part of the Tijuca National Park, which is made up of Atlantic forest, and you will be able to appreciate the native flora and fauna. The Pedra da Gávea trail is a trail considered difficult, due to the degree of inclination and natural obstacles, such as roots and rocks on the way, which we have to overcome using our hands, and in some parts we will have to use climbing equipment such as ropes, brakes, seats and helmets, at some points we have plans where we will use chains already fixed in place. During the trail you will see the main points of interest, such as the Gávea Plateau, Cabeça do Imperador, Stone of Radius, Pyramid, Cadeira, Carrasqueira, Paredão and Stone of the Ship. The trail is done via Carrasqueira, using the climbing and rappelling technique. Our guides are registered with the Ministry of Tourism, have climbing courses, first aid, rescue in a jungle environment (RAS), among other courses related to the activity. Note: The itinerary may be changed, postponed or canceled due to weather conditions
