It was a wonderful day in the company of wonderful people and stunning nature. Thanks to Tim for organizing this safari. I came alone for a couple of days, and he kindly invited me to join the group. We were able to see almost all of the five. Tim is not just an expert in his field, but a passionate person who is endlessly in love with his country and nature. I had a magical time in South Africa thanks to Tim. From the very beginning he was enthusiastic and helpful in planning my time in SA. We talked on WhatsApp before I left the US to confirm the details of the tour I wanted. Tim texted me the night before to make sure I had made it. Which put me at ease knowing he would be there in the morning. Upon arriving for my very early pick up, I was offered coffee and cookies. It was very nice touch. We drove to Pilanesberg for a 6 hour drive. It was amazing! We saw the big 5 within the first 3 hours! After Pilaesburg we went to Mzika Reserve, the venue was right out of a fairytale! It was just what I hoped for when planning an over night safari excursion. We went for a sunset drive and the South African sky was breath taking. The next morning we did a sunrise drive that was magical as well. All of the food at Mziki was delicious! I could not have asked for a better experience. Tim was an amazing guide with a wealth of knowledge about the animals and South African history. He truly is a kind soul and I felt safe the whole time having him there looking after me. If you’re wanting an amazing guide that is a genuine good person, book Tim! You will not be disappointed. South Africa was my 51st country I have visited, and because of Tim - it has been one of the BEST experiences I have had in my life! Most of the time I don’t want to visit a place again and want to always go somewhere new - but I will be back to SA! Tim made me fall in love with the country!

Me and my work colleague were in Johannesburg on business trip and had weekend free so decided to book Pilanesberg safari with Tim as he was highly recommended, he was highly recommended not just this time but also 5 years ago when I came here for the first time but never got a chance to go for safari.
Tim came sharp on time to pick us up from hotel in the morning. The plan was to get to Pilanesberg national park before the sun rise. After few hours journey on the road we arrived well on time, greeted by his polite team member.
Tim offered home baked biscuits cooked by his lovely wife and hot tea which definitely helped us refreshing ourselves after hours of road trip.
While booking Tim asked us to bring warm clothes with us as it was late August. We came prepared as best we could with the right outfit but it wasn't enough. We were so glad when Tim provided us with warm jackets and wool blankets to wrap us otherwise we would have frozen to death, we simply couldn't realise how cold it could be in the wild especially when you are travelling in open vehicle.
We first went to the location where we could see the sun rising, it was absolutely stunning. After that we started looking for wild animals. Luck was on our side as we almost saw big fives in their natural habitat along with other animals. Had a frighting
experience though with elephants but we knew we were in safe hands with the right team of professionals, Tim did brief us before safari not to do something stupid and stay calm all the time. It was simply an amazing experience.
One thing which we really liked and appreciated was Tim took all the burden from us taking photos during safari, instead he took all the photos using his professional SLR camera while we simply enjoyed the experience, at the end he uploaded all the photos to our phones.
The other thing which is worth mentioning is we really enjoyed Tim's company, he's such a nice down to earth person, even took us to the right place where we could buy local honey.
If I ever visit South Africa again either on business or with family I will definitely arrange Kruger safari with Tim. Highly recommended.

The tour was booked quickly, just one or two days before the trip. But Tim went above and beyond for us and set everything up the way we wanted it. Additionally, the prices are fair.
We plan to book a tour at Wildside Tours & Safaris again shortly because we are sure that Tim will do his best to make this experience great again.

Tim was amazing! I was on a work trip and he was able to squeeze us in for the safari. We went on the elephant walk but ended up seeing all the animals. Such a beautiful experience. Thanks Tim for a great day!

You will be collected from the Hotel at 06h00 and proceed to the Pilanesberg Nature Reserve that spans an area of 550 square kilometres, the home of the BIG FIVE. Here we will drive around in the safety of our vehicle and feel the tension mounting that at any moment just around a corner you could spot herd of elephant or the king himself the lion or if lucky spot the ever elusive leopard as he lies on a rock or in a tree watching you and enticing you to make a mistake. Without a doubt you will feel the sensation of total tranquillity of the African bush and know that that feeling will linger with you for eternity. During your trip we will stop off within the reserve at the Zebra Crossing Restaurant for lunch on the deck overlooking the water hole. ch surrounded by Mother Nature .After an eventful day we then head out for Chameleon African Curio market. Here you will have the pleasure of walking around an area with 186 different stalls all enticing you to purchase a gift for a loved one back home.
