This was an incredible tour - one that I know I will remember for years. To stand inside the centre of the tower and look up felt almost unreal. It's a place I had heard about but to hear all the details of it's dramatic history from the brilliant guide (a current resident) was just so great. I loved photographing and this tour is the only way for a non resident to enter - you get to visit a 'penthouse' apartment, look down from near the top and then visit the base. Even better is that the majority of what u pay (amazing value for the quality of your) goes to support the work they do with kids in the tower itself. This was the highlight of my trip and I learnt a lot about local history, not just the tower.

Beautiful experience visiting Ponte City building, I arrived early by car, I was a bit hesitant at first because the neighborhood is certainly not Mayfair, but I gathered courage and everything went very well. I really appreciate the courage and commitment these guys have in saving the youth from the degradation outside. The view and the atmosphere, especially on the 51st floor, are beautiful. Then the finale inside the cylinder, breathtaking. Truly a beautiful experience, thanks again. Stefano

At the beginning of July, a few ladies from our hiking community took on the Ponte Challenge, and what an incredible experience it was! This event pushed all of us to our limits, but the sense of accomplishment at the end was worth every step. The finisher's medal was a much-appreciated reward for our efforts, and the breakfast that followed was the perfect way to celebrate our achievement. The views of Joburg from the 51st floor are simply unmatched; they offer a breathtaking perspective of the city. We felt completely safe with secure parking and the presence of security guards at the entrance of this iconic building. We enjoyed the challenge so much that we are already planning another private event next month with more ladies joining. The Ponte Challenge is a must-do for anyone looking to test their limits and enjoy some of the best views in Joburg.
