    Amazing ! Such a nice host and very helpful .. Pretty cheap to make a candle compared to what ive been to before ! 10/10 and would do it again !

    We had a great girls day out today! What a fun experience making candles! Steve was very knowledgeable about mixing different scents that they offer, they all smelled so good! He helped us with every step. This is my second time going and I just love their candles. We also were able go buy a bottle of wine there to share! If you’re ever in Bardstown I highly recommend!

    This was my 3rd experience with Pour Your Own Candle Making, my friends 1st. We had the best time. Steve is very knowledgeable about making candles, and makes it so much fun. I recommend this to everyone, locals and tourists alike. What a great way to commemorate a visit to Bourbon Country!

    Excellent time hanging with friends! Steve was wonderful to work with before, during, and after the experience!! Making Good Scentz store has great selection of items and smells too! As someone who is sensitive to strong smells, I never felt overpowered.

    I was in Lebanon, Kentucky just for about 24 hours and looked up "things to do near me" and found this amazing gem of a place!! What a great experience I had with the owner Steve, as he ran a candle-making class, showing how to choose and mix a variety of scents, setting and pouring them into my choice of jar options. Steve was very friendly and knowledgeable, and went at a slow pace when necessary to answer questions and give advice. I would recommend "Making Good Scentz" for something new and fun to do for 1 person up to a group of 15 people! Bring your friends and enjoy a great activity as a group! (They also offer alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well during the class for purchase.) I'm super excited and can't wait to smell my creation in the comfort of my home!!

    You are the master of your own candle scent at our Pour Your Own Candle Bar Experience. We allow you to choose just the right Scent or Scentz that you blend to create the fragrance that fits your style. We know that every nose is different so we give you the opportunity to create exactly what you love... But in an experience setting. You choose from over 35 scentz and the blending begins. We offer the full experience of making your candles as well. Many candle bars don't allow you to make the whole candle, but we are different. You not only get to wick your jar and blend your scents, but we also allow you to mix your wax and oils, pour your candle and set the wick. The full experience also includes full education and burning tips and tricks. The full behind the scenes on candle making. We also offer wines/spirits/beers that have a local aspect. Wine Flights are also offered. IMPORTANT: Candles will take 1/2 hour to an hour to make and will have to set for 1.5 hours to cool and set. If you book candle bar after 4pm reservation time (5:30pm on Thursdays) it can be picked up the next day or we can ship it for $5 fee.
