Its turquoise waters, the scent of jasmine, its white houses and its stone walls gilded by the centuries ... its medina bordered by fine sand is particularly poetic. Admire its Fort, located at the corner of the outer wall, which was enlarged in the 16th century by the Turks during their war against the Spanish for control of Tunisia. Stroll through the old medina and climb the Ribat to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea. Discover Yasmine Hammamet and have a coffee, a drink or lunch in its Marina.

Continue to Monastir and explore the beautiful promenade along the seafront: the marina, the Ribat esplanade, the cemetery dominated by narrow minarets and the Bourguiba mausoleum. Climb the 90 steep steps to the Ribat watchtower for a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and surrounding beaches. Admire the ancient golden stones of its towers, its ramparts and the nearby mosque. Then, delve into the cobbled streets of the medina. Browse the souks where stalls are full of fragrant spices and beautiful handicrafts: leather bags, blankets, woven baskets ... Head to the lively quays and the fishing port.
