Hidden Valley is a 44-hectare crater that was formed during fiery volcanic upheaval thousands of years ago. From the cracks more than a hundred springs of varying temperature came to life forming natural pools with the purest mineral waters believed to be medicinal and rejuvenating. Trees and plants emerged from the shadowy heart of the crater, which undisturbed for centuries went on to become giants reaching for the sunlight. On the far side of the crater the earth opened into a gorge creating hidden waterfalls. Listen to the rhythm and sounds of swaying palms and ferns accompanied by the gently cascading waters gushing forth from the mountainside. Hidden Valley is home to at least 153 species of flora, most of which are endemic. The abundant greens, blooms and foliage crowned by 300-year old Amlang trees are a glorious sight. Amongst the foliage a number of paths link numerous spring-fed pools where you can relax and enjoy these wonderful surroundings. Swimming or lazing by the pools is the main activity here. Lunch and afternoon snacks will be served at resort’s pavilion before your transfer back to the port.
