What to expect

A few steps from the center of Cortina, on the sunny southern slope of Pomagagnon, we enter the quiet of the larch forests. The trail leads DA through clearings and widening panoramic views, until you reach the Mietres Refuge area: a privileged vantage point from which the view embraces all the peaks that surround the Queen of the Dolomites. Here you can also enjoy a great lunch, admiring the Tofane. Walking in the snow gives unique sensations: the gentle sinking step, the muffled rustle of snowshoes, the light reflected on the immaculate slopes. Upon request and depending on the snow conditions, we can safely extend the excursion, to fully enjoy the silence and harmony of the winter landscape, or choose another itinerary FRA Cortina. We are in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site: an environment of extraordinary naturalistic, geological and scenic value. An authentic and respectful experience, ideal for those who want to experience the mountain in its purest essence, immersed in the silent beauty of the snow and the magic of winter walking.
