    We were a family of two adults and two teenagers. The tour was easy to book and all the details about pick up from our hotel with driver's contact were solved quickly. We have before seen pictures from the tour from others but nothing compares with the experience you feel on your own. Driving on the tiny mountain roads through wild nature was frightening but at the same incredibly beautiful. We made several stops along the ride to further enjoy the nature and take pictures. The almost one hour drive to the cottage on the mountain seemed to take very little time in the company of Vesko, our skilled driver and guide at the same time, who we had a very pleasant conversation with. At the cottage we were welcomed by Drago, the tour organizer, a genuine Balkan host. We were served with the best he had. The lunch was not at all inferior to what has been seen from the presentation. Very delicios! We felt like we were visiting old friends discussing about everything. Nice an relaxing! On the way back to the hotel we visited also the old olive tree in Bar. I warmly recommend the tour. The people are fantastic!

    I believe this tour shows you the best of what Bar has to offer. Our Jeep driver/tour guide was knowledgeable and talkative about Montenegro and gave us a lot of insight into the melting pot of religions/cultures etc in the area. The Jeep ride up the mountain was not for the faint of heart and if you experience motion sickness or aren't up for a very off road experience, this may not be for you. We found out after the fact that there is a far shorter and gentler route available (we took that one down the mountain) but it is far less scenic. The meal at Drago's home was delicious and it was great to see the unique method for preparation.

    We were cruisers with Marella. Collected on time from just outside the port where the shuttle bus from the boat dropped us off. Great views and photo stops on the way to the top of the mountain, mostly off road up a dirt track. Great food was cooked and presented by our host, all home grown with dessert provided by Mama! We were back in good time as promised and dropped back to shuttle bus. Highly recommend this independent trip, friendly,knowledgeable drivers. 6 of us travelled in comfort in 2 jeeps.

    The Rumija Jeep Experience starts from the city of Bar, and the first stop is the ancient olive tree, which is over 2000 years old and is one of the oldest olive trees in Europe. Various legends and traditions are associated with it, which you will have the opportunity to hear from the guide. Then the off-road drive begins, and the ascent up the mountain through untouched natural beauty. During the upward journey, the highest peak is reached, which stands at 1325 meters above sea level, where you will have the opportunity to see Lake Šas, the Bojana River, and the neighboring country of Albania from the viewpoint where the tour stops. The tour continues through a dense forest, visiting a hidden waterfall, a mosque, and a monastery.

    After two hours of driving and ascending Rumija Mountain, a lunch break is taken.     After lunch, the Rumija Jeep Experience is not over; it continues. We now start descending towards the city in the jeeps, but not by the same route we ascended. Instead, we take a different path, making a circle around Rumija Mountain. During the descent, we stop at the most beautiful viewpoint in our city, offering a panoramic view of the entire city of Bar and its beauties. Towards the end of the tour, we also pass through the Old Town of Bar and have a view of the ancient walls and fortifications of the city that is over 1500 years old.
