What to expect

We will meet at the historic Hvalfjordur fjord - en route you will pass some noticeable interests along the way and drive through the beautiful countryside. The road we take is the old road that people would take when heading north but now there is a tunnel underneath the fjord - causing much less traffic and a tranquil environment just a short drive from Reykjavik. When you arrive your guide will have prepared the equipment for you and go through any safety procedures necessary. Then a short introduction to SUP for any of those a bit rusty or if it's your first time. You'll be on the water with your guide for more or less 2 hours but this is weather dependent and peoples fitness levels. Ultimately reaching land and then carry on your way - weather you are heading for the ring road - hike up Glymur - Hvammsvík Nature Baths or simply back to Reykjavik.
