Arica

At 8:30 AM we will leave our selected hotels and Arica to go to the border city of Tacna, in Peru. This city is bigger than Arica, it has a free zone and a beautiful craft trade in llama and alpaca fabrics. Before arriving in Tacna, we will stop at the border control in Chilean Customs. Once we pass the controls we will make a brief stop on the La Concordia Line (border between Chile and Peru) and we will see the Christ of La Paz .

Tacna

After passing Customs in Peru, we will go to the city of Tacna. We will visit Bolognesi and San Martín Avenues, admiring the monuments to Admiral Grau and Colonel Bolognesi.

Catedral de Tacna

We will visit the Cathedral of Tacna, which is the work of the renowned architect Gustavo Eiffel. We can take advantage of touring the free zone for shopping, and we will have time for lunch (lunch not included).

Tacna

After lunch we can visit the surroundings of Tacna, especially the artisan markets. After this beautiful day, we will be returning to our selected hotels in the city of Arica.
