    Our driver, Sasha, got us to Split safely, but we were very unhappy with our experience. The driver spoke little English and could not answer basic questions. The one thing he said well was “he had no more time “ He was late picking us up by 30 minutes and we had to walk to his car 2 blocks away. He admitted he was not familiar with Zagreb, so we understood. Since we are not very good walkers and we knew he would not be helpful, we decided to go directly to Split. Before reaching Split, he asked for our hotel name and contact info. (I had sent this info to company before, but he said he did not have info). He called our hotel, and according to the manager, he said he would bring the luggage in. She was horrified to find that a neighbor had to bring our luggage and help us find the hotel. He parked about 5 minutes away. When we asked him to show us where hotel was and to help with luggage he said he had to time. I reminded him that we saved him 2 hours because we did not take the 2 hour tour, he said he was finished. I have used this company for service twice in the last 2 weeks with wonderful drivers and have one more scheduled in a few days. This was the most expensive (way over priced) trip with a driver who did not care.

    There’s a wide variety of both flora and fauna in the Park. Over 800 species of plantlife have been identified as being present in the National Park. Much of the animal life lives, unsurprisingly, in and around the waters of the Krka River which is home to different amphibian and reptile creatures. You will also be able to see many different bird species (there are over 200), and possibly some of the 18 different species of bat who call the Park their home. Other highlights include the small island of Visovac and Roski Slap waterfall. A boat trip through the park (included in the entrance ticket) is a great way of seeing much of the Park. Best of all, it is possible to swim in some locations in Krka National Park! (To be sure to bring your swimming costume or trunks along!)
