Just grabbed the driver from the street in Positano after a hellish hotel stay (that will be another review later). The gent, who was formerly a topographer and very bald (his name eludes me) helped us load up and travel to Sorrento.
Suggested some places where he eats being a local in sorrento, where and what to do.
Car was clean and he organised the people to collect our bags as the hotel was in a side street.
Couldn’t have asked for more!

Excellent service - we got a driver to pick us up with all of our suitcases in Positano which is not an easy task given the narrow roads and many stairs from the hotel. He was prompt and friendly and drove us to sorrento, pointing out interesting facts along the way. Highly recommend.

Our drivers, Luigi and Andrea, were not only highly professional and skilled at navigating the windy, often busy coastal roads, but they also transformed each journey into a delightful impromptu tour. Their knowledge of the region rivaled that of the professional guides we used during our visit. Needless to say, they spoke very good English and even taught us a bit of Italian - Mama Mia!
Luigi and Andrea’s friendliness and accommodating nature made every ride special. They happily stopped at a local winery so we could pick up some wines, suggested a popular spot for lemon cakes and gelato, and even shared restaurant recommendations that became highlights of our unplanned evenings. Their sleek Mercedes vehicles was always immaculate, stocked with chilled water, ensuring comfort on every trip, no matter how twisty the roads.
