This colonial residence keeps the pass of the time for new visitors.

Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco

Visit the oldest church in Quito that was built in 1535. This church still preserves its original architecture. Its main altar was bathed in gold leaf which makes it aesthetically impressive. Here, you can take photos and admire sculptures and paintings dating from the XVII or XVIII century. The first art school in the Americas and the first brewery were born in its convent.

Plaza de la Independencia (Plaza Grande)

Political, historical and administrative center of the city, where four powers of the state are located; the Presidential Palace, City Hall, Catholic Church Office and the main Cathedral are standing out to give life to the Plaza.

La Virgen del Panecillo

The Immaculate Lady of Quito is the largest landmark that contemplates and look out the city. It is an incredible view point to see all the city. Its imposing height is visible from all sectors.
