This was one of the best vacation days!! These machines tear up and down the desert hills with ease. It felt like a little monster truck? We toured the desert for 2 solid hours and outlet ranger Allison was very knowledgeable of the land and the vehicles capabilities! She took us on a great mix of rock climbing and speed demon satisfaction on the straight roads!

Allison was an amazing guide - knowledgeable, professional, personable and engaging. Razor suspension allowed a smooth ride even in rough terrain - much better than an ATV.
Beware - when making the reservation - the reservation is for the number of razors - not people. We did not realize that but the vendor advised they would notify Viator of the change and a refund/credit would be issued for the 2nd reservation as we only needed 1 razor for 2 people. Viator advises a refund will not be issued. We trust the vendor will be paid for 2 reservations as that is what we originally paid for. Disappointing that Viator won’t issue refund when vendor said they would. We have used Viator in the past and have recommended them to family and friends … we may rethink that going forward.

On our final day of vacation in Lake Tahoe we went on an off road razor tour in Carson City, Nevada. The four of us rode together in one razor. Our tour guide was Cory with Aramark. Cory was a great guide. He allowed us to drive at whatever speed we were comfortable with. We quickly discovered we preferred fast! It was an exhilarating experience. By the end we were covered in desert dust. The dust was easily washed away, but the memories we made on this ride will last forever!

• Hotel Azure (3300 Lake Tahoe Blvd): Shuttle arrives 75 minutes prior to tour departure. Meet at the parking area on Freemont St.
• 3 Peaks (9321 Park Ave): Shuttle arrives 65 minutes prior to tour departure. Meet at the main entrance, adjacent to the lobby.
• Station House (901 Park Ave): Shuttle arrives 65 minutes prior to tour departure. Pick-up on Pine Blvd. Ask front desk for directions.
• The Landing (4104 Lakeshore Blvd): Shuttle arrives 60 minutes prior to tour departure. Meet at the main entrance, adjacent to the lobby.
• Harrah's Casino - Lake Tahoe, CA (15 US 50): Shuttle arrives 55 minutes prior to tour departure. Meet at the rear entrance near the arcade.
