    A first visit to Wisley and I was totally blown away with the sheer size and beautifully laid out gardens. Every plant and tree was labelled, so no need to play guessing games or use Google lens. It was fantastic to see so many different aspects of gardening covered, and every corner had a seat to perch on and enjoy the view. The orchard and veg garden, rockery, tropical and cottage gardens were highlights but it’s difficult to pick as all of it was amazing to wander round. Really fantastic things for kids to get involved and the garden centre was fab, I wish all garden centres had the plants A-Z, it makes for much easier shopping! The restaurant was nice and food freshly made. I wish I lived nearer, I would be there often. Please can the RHS plan their next garden in the midlands?

    Being members of the RHS it made sense to visit Wisley whilst staying in Windsor. As always the gardens are absolutely fantastic and we walked for miles. Would definitely recommend anyone to visit of all ages.

    Last visited a few years ago and had a terrible lunch but put it down to a one off. Sadly that wasn’t the case. Ordered a jacket potato today with beans & cheese. The potato was raw in the middle and the tablespoon each of beans and tasteless cheese were served to the side rather than on the potato. Indifferent service and poor food for the price. Won’t revisit.

    Loved our visit to Wisley. There is obviously a lot of TLC involved and the gardens were immaculate. We spent over 5 hours here and loved every minute. Great facilities, everywhere was very clean and it was good to see there was great access for anyone in a wheelchair or Mobility scooter. It was very busy, but as the grounds are so extensive it didn’t feel at all crowded. Well worth a visit. Great to see the glasshouses, however Kew Gardens has the edge for a visitor experience with its giant lily pads and wildlife.

    The Gardens were beautiful to see at this time of the year, however be prepared for some steep climbs if you want to see all that is on offer, so not good for those with mobility issues, unless you are riding a mobility scooter or wheel chair, be prepared for changes in the weather, (a typical British summers day, rain and brilliant sunshine), as shelter from the rain is limited, so dress accordingly, the Old Laboratory is an interesting addition to the site. It's a big site so if you want to see it all you will need a full day.
