    My friend and I set off from Riyadh, passing by the beautiful farms, stopping to ride camels, then we went to the second stop and stocked up on our drinks, then we went to the sand lake inside the red sands, took some beautiful pictures, saw the salt lakes, moved to the heritage village of Shaqra, and enjoyed watching the old museum. It was a wonderful tour.

    The city tour was great. We enjoyed watching the sunset, walking on the salt water and learning about how salt is extracted. The museum tour was great and also the Shaqra heritage tour had an old feel.

    Badar our tour guide made us have truly exceptional experience on the Riyadh City Tour. As soon we were picked from our hotel made feel comfortable and treated like his own family. His polite manners and provided details of all Riyadh history and developments for projects currently being constructed whilst were travelling to the main locations of the tour. His timing at each location and explaining the historical facts was a history lesson of Riyadh, was incredible. The camel ride was unique experince. Made exceptional effort for us see the sunset. We will remember this tour as value adding to our life. Finally ended in Shaqra Heritage Museum, with local history expert and enjoyed a traditional evening meal. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wishes remember their holidays.

    Qasab Salt Flats

    In Shaqra Governorate, the Qasab Salt Flats are the largest salt flats in Najd and one of the largest in Saudi Arabia. They are Saudi Arabia's primary source of salt and have become a popular tourist destination for learning about natural salt extraction. Since the pre-Islamic era, Al-Qasab has been famous for its salt and wheat production; it is located 160 km away from Riyadh and is also famous for its poets. Visit the Al Qasab Salt Flats to witness how raw salt is produced from flat expanses of salt-covered ground. Approximately 200,000 tons of salt are produced there each year, and it is still known throughout the Kingdom for its high-quality salt that is sold in plastic packets.
