    Awesome tour guide. Easy to find. Great experiences with the animals. The rum tasting was very good and do not sleep on it! Great view and pictures. Staff couldn’t be any better.

    The wildlife experience was great with Dennis as the tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. The chocolate tasting was nice. They explained and showed us the process of chocolate making although it was a bit quick. The rum tasting was extremely hot. It was "indoors" and there was no air conditioning. I couldn't even stay in there long enough to taste any rum because I couldn't breathe. Overall, the excursion was fun with the exception of the rum tasting. If there were air conditioning, I would have enjoyed it much more.

    Very late review, but I had to share how FANTASTIC this tour was. Roatan had been on my list to visit for a few years. This was a cruise stop so we had limited time. Sloths, chocolate and rum tasting fit within our timeframe and gave us an opportunity to see the island. Locating our tour guide was a bit chaotic as you emerge outside of the port gates, but all the tour guides were helpful in directing you to the right group. There seemed to be a large party (about 10) within our tour. Since it was just my husband and I, the tour lead assigned us to a young gal in our own private car. I wish I wrote down our guide's name, because she made the trip exceptional. She lived on the island so we learned a lot about the people and life living there. We stopped at a high point on the island that overlooked the bay and gave you the opportunity to shop. Next stop was Mayan Eden. This was the highlight as I finally got to hold a sloth, have monkeys climb up on my shoulder and learn about how the island cares for the animals. Next stop was the chocolate factory, but on the way, she drove us a "longer" way showing us beautiful beaches and the community she lives in. The chocolate factory is just a store with a candy maker or two in the back you can watch. But I loved that you could sample the different levels of cocoa in the chocolate. I bought a large box to bring back and share with family and friends. The last stop was the rum company for tasting. Yes, in essence a store, but I came back with a lovely spiced rum and rum cake. We stopped at the ROATAN sign for pictures before heading back to the cruise ship. This was by far, the best shore excursion I have done in all of the ports we visited through the years. I highly recommended this tour and will be signing up for another 2K Adventure Tour when we return!

    Communication was fantastic with 2K's adventure tours, easy to reach out and organise the location of pick up and timings when we were unsure. Delia was our driver and tour guide, she was lovely, extremely friendly and knowledgable. Nothing was too much bother for her, and she was able to take us somewhere nice for lunch and was on hand for all our photo opportunities. Would recommend it as it was probably our favourite excursion when cruising the Caribbean.

Our staff will be at the port from the time your ship docks and will be waiting for you at the designated meeting point. Isla Tropicale – Carnival Port, Roatán Pick-Up Instructions: To meet our staff, you will walk approximately 2–5 minutes outside the terminal. If preferred, you may also take a taxi for $2 per person to the meeting point outside the port. Our staff will be waiting with a sign that says “2K’s Adventures Tours.” Pick-Up Time: One hour after your ship arrives, or as soon as you are able to disembark and reach the meeting point. Berth 1 – Port of Roatán After leaving the ship, walk through the port past the shops and painted wall. Turn right down the aisle through the kiosk area offering independent tours. Follow the covered walkway and signs for “Port Offices,” “Taxi,” and “Exit.” Continue straight through the pavilion area and exit through Gate 1 — the gate that leads to downtown. Our team will be waiting right outside the gate with a sign that says “2K’s Adventures Tours.” Guests Staying on the Island We offer pick-up and drop-off service for guests staying at hotels, resorts, or Airbnbs. Please provide the name of your accommodation, and your driver will be there to pick you up at your selected time.
