Look down into the breathtaking Royal Gorge as this tour takes you over Americaā€™s highest suspension bridge nearly 1000 feet above the Arkansas River. Skyline Drive

Skyline Drive is a scenic roadway in CaƱon City, Colorado. It was built by inmate labor in 1905.[1] The road starts from U.S. Highway 50, with a gradual incline up the side of a ridge. When the road crests, it winds, climbs, and falls like a roller coaster until near its end, where a scenic outlook overlooks both the city (east) and the highway (west). The single-lane, one-way road rises about 800 feet above the surrounding terrain. There are no guardrails despite sharp drop offs, and the drive is about 3 miles long.

Temple Canyon Park

Temple Canyon road winds over the Royal Gorge anticline through the ancient hunting grounds of the Ute tribe. The canyon road passes "The Temple" but you have to know where to look. Fossils can be seen along the road with other geological wonders.

Looking for an unforgettable & once in a lifetime experience? This is it! Rusty, our guide was absolutely fantastic! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made the whole experience feel like a day out with friends! We did the zip lining over the Royal Gorge and words cannot describe how amazing that was! DeDe was our guide and we really loved the tour, especially her explanations of the history of the area. She showed us lots of historical photos and really accommodated our photo taking. The experience was so much richer than if we'd gone to the Royal Gorge by ourselves -- she took us places in the jeep that most people aren't allowed to visit. She even showed us screen grabs of the movie in which she was an extra (which we watched later that night).

Our guide was excellent. She did a great job telling the history of the territory. My husband did the zip lining over the Royal Gorge & loved it.

Getting hailed and rained on. The gorge bridge was also really cool. But didnā€™t get to go to third park because of rain.

The Royal Gorge Loop Half Day Jeep Tours by Colorado Jeep Tours was amazing. Coach is an excellent driver and tour guide. He is so knowledgeable and kept us entertained the entire two and a half hours. The scenery was beautiful and we went places only the jeep could take us, but we always felt safe. I would highly recommend the tour and you can't go wrong if you get Coach as your driver and tour guide. We would definitely go again and try the Red Canyon tour this time!
