    Our experience was most unfortunate; too bad since the locals were very welcoming and friendly. Most places we went were closed and falling apart. A lot of the place looks abandoned. We were robbed by knifepoint in the middle of the day in the busy tourist area. My husband and I both used to work in law enforcement and have travelled the while world so we are not stupid or careless; this happened despite being very alert. Next day we saw an 8 yr old kid trying to get into the driver door of a nice car at a traffic light. There is a sense of desperation here and it felt very unsafe. Also it rained and the whole streets flooded immediately. There is no beach, the sand and water are full Of trash.

    Pesimo servicio, nos llevaron el jueves 2 de diciembre a santo domingo, los choferes vienen todo el tiempo recibiendo llamadas de la agencia y ellos vienen contestando llamadas y texteando mientras manejan, en ese tour el chofer por su imprudencia le pego a otro auto de regreso de santo domingo, se pararon en una gasolinera a negociar el pago del choque, el chofer debido al tiempo que habia perdido por el choque decidio aumentar muchisimo la velocidad de la camioneta, la camioneta traia un sonido muy extraño que claramente el chofer decidio ignorar y mas adelante el neumatico se daño y tuvo que parar en carretera mas de una hora y media en lo que cambiaba el neumatico, el chofer con una nula habilidad para cambiar neumaticos estaba tardando mucho y los hombres que venian en el tour le tuvieron que ayudar a hacerlo aparte de que ya estaba totalmente oscuro, no puso ni quiera las señalizaciones de precaucion en el pavimento, uno de los chicos del tour lo tuvo que hacer. Tambien nos llevaron a isla saona y lo mismo, los choferes vienen manejando y hablando por telefono y texteando, aparte de que te hacen cambiar de camion en una estacion de gasolina (media hora perdida en eso) y cuando llega el nuevo transporte ya viene con gente y no te toca sentarte con la persona con la que veniste.
