    If you are over 60 years old you are not allowed to scuba dive or snorkelling . Even when your doctor has certified you fit. Ridiculous bureaucratic restrictions.

    I had a wonderful experience with the Experience Andaman team. On Day 1, we visited the Cellular Jail. The guide at the jail gave us interesting insights that threw light on the history of the jail, atrocities meted out to the jail inmates by the rulers at that time which gave us goosebumps. The Experience Andaman team did the necessary arrangement so we didn't have to bother about anything. The schedule for all the stay and timings and sight-seeing attractions were explained right at the beginning. The history of the jail was also depicted through several portraits and statues that made it seem real. The struggles of several freedom fighters that include the legend Veer Savarkar with his room that has his photo and few of his articles are still available as factual evidence at the jail for visistors to view. Unpredictable weather conditions played spoil sport so we could not view the light show at the night that was cancelled due to heavy rains. The light show at the Central Jail is a must-see. Next day, we visited the Havelock Beach for Scuba Diving and Snorekelling. We were very well taken care of by The Dive Master team who addressed all our concerns and suggested Snorekelling and Scuba Diving. Ashwin, the instructor is well versed with the exact location where the visibility of the Marine Life was good. After giving the initial training, we were in for a once in a lifetime experience that enthralled with never before visuals that captured our attention and is forever to be etched in our memories. We were greeted to colorful fishes, Coral reef and the sea waves that splashed across. All these did justice to a first timer who never ever had any underwater experience. Post this, we visited the Radhanagar Beach. The swift sea waves splashing across the feet and the best part worth noting is the cleanliness of the beach. Clean sparkling water makes this a must visit. The un-seasonal unexpexted rains hammering the beach made us exit the place early and reach the Baywatch resort which is nothing short of a spectacle. The individual cottages with fantastic amenities like wifi, television and the Vijaynagar Beach just a stone throw away for a post breakfast walk was an absolute treat. Amazing sea food served at the restaurant was the cherry on the cake. And with all the memories and a few miss thanks to the rain, we headed back to our onward journey back home. Ararsu, the co-ordinator from the Experience Andaman team with his warm welcome on Day one and excellent co-ordination through out the trip made it an experience of a lifetime. Great Job Arasu and Team Experience Andaman!!

    Scuba Diving is an experience of a lifetime. The trip begins after you reach the dive centre at the provided slot timing. After the initial formalities and know how is over, your shallow water training begins. After that, we go for a dive. A dive professional is in the water with you at all times, and will handle your safety. Slot timings between (5 AM - 11 AM) is provided once your booking is confirmed. Maximum depth of the program is 40 feet – how deep you go will depend on your comfort level in the water and the instructor's discretion. The dive duration depends on you, your air consumption and comfort level. This program lasts for approximately 30 - 40 Minutes and the total Scuba diving experience including training is about 2 Hours 30 Minutes. Your trip begins at a given allotted time from the dive shop where you gear up with all necessary scuba jackets, oxygen masks and other equipment required for Scuba Diving. You are taught various signs and basics about how to use the equipment under water. All necessary safety procedures are taught before the dive begins. We follow the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) general standards and recommendations.
