Salento

We start our adventure in Jeep Willys from Salento along the old road that connects Salento with Ibague, in a journey of 26km. Then we return by Jeep Willys 7km until we reach La rodillona school, the starting point of our 17-kilometer walk back to Salento along the "national road - route of the colonizers", we will see the biodiversity of species of fauna, flora and We will learn from the myths, legends of the ancestors of the area. On the way we make some educational stops of flora, fauna and landscaping where you can take pictures of the Cocora Valley, Nevado del Tolima and Paramillo del Quindío. As we cross the central mountain range of the Andes at 3,340 meters above sea level towards the department of Tolima. We make a 6km descent until we reach the starting point of the walk, where we will enter the imposing largest wax palm forest in Colombia, we do a walk while we watch the birds that live there.
