    Be mindful that this trip is one way. I checked carefully around this with Viator who assured me this was a return ticket. It wasn’t - I nearly got stranded and ended up paying double what I was expecting.

    Not sure if they forgot about us, but they were 45 mins late and the car they picked us up with only had one pickup spot (which is the one we were waiting at, Santo Thomas Hotel). Here's what happened: We were waiting at the pickup spot since 20 minutes before the pickup time (which was 2pm). Around 2:25pm the shuttle was still not here while all the other people also waiting for shuttle services had already boarded their buses operated by other companies (most are also picking up at 2pm). We were the last ones left waiting at Santo Thomas Hotel. We then contacted Due South Travel and they said the driver would arrive soon. The driver eventually arrived at around 2:45pm in a car, rather than a shared van. I don't recall them explaining or apologizing for what happened. I suspect if we've never contacted them, they may not have come at all. That said, the customer service was good. They were responsive and reacted quickly, they also kept me updated afterwards. So the stars given in this review is for them. The missing stars were cause the shuttle felt unreliable.

    Great timing - only two hours from Chichi to Antigua. Safe driver and good person. Will use this service again.

    Shuttle bus much older and run down than pictured in Viator marketing. Van had no power to climb mountains in Guatemala so often we were going very slow. We got to our destination and back, but not in comfort. Some other vans were much nicer. Also, prior to our return, it took all the drivers including ours about 40 minutes to figure out who was returning in their shuttle and who needed to switch vans to go on to Panajachel. It could have been better organized. Our driver had a hand written notes with names highlighted.
