Materuni village is still an authentic tribal village home to the Chagga tribe and the last village before the Kilimanjaro National Park on the way you will learn about the culture of the Chagga tribe, village life and the surrounding flora and fauna. With your guide alongside, you will enjoy breathtaking views and with luck, you may see the peak of mount Kilimanjaro. On the way trail can be slippery & muddy, so it is best to have good hiking shoes with grip and a rain coat. When you reach the waterfalls, marvel at cascades that are more than 80-meters (262-feet) high, Spend sometime there before driving back to Arusha, Moshi or Kilimanjaro airport.
