Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the center of Moshi town. Head northwest on Uhuru Street until you reach the intersection with Mweka Road. Turn left onto Mweka Road and continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Machame Road junction.

  • Walking

    At the Machame Road junction, you have two options: you can either walk to the main bus station to catch a daladala (shared minibus), or you can continue walking along Machame Road, which will lead you closer to Materuni. If you choose to walk, keep following Machame Road for another 3 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Materuni village.

  • Public Transport

    If you decide to take a daladala from the bus station, board a daladala heading to Machame or Materuni. The fare is typically around 1,000 TZS. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Materuni village. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes.
