Great George Street Historic District

Great George St. is known for the evolution of architecture displayed here with its beautifully preserved Georgian architecture on one side of the street and Gothic Revival architecture on the other side. While on this street, you will pass by the Bishops Palace and the Basilica Cathedral which is considered to be the defining silhouette of Charlottetown.

Province House National Historic Site

Continuing onward, guests will stroll around outside on the grounds of Province House - also known as the birthplace of Confederation before heading over to Victoria Row.

Victoria Row

This area is well known for its daily live entertainment, local artists, artisan shops, cafes and farm-to-table restaurants.

Confederation Centre of the Arts

Guests will continue onward to view the Confederation Centre of the Arts where the world famous Anne of Green Gables play has been running for over 50 years!

Government House

The government buildings are a stunning example of brutalist architecture. Here you will visit the Beaconsfield Historic House and the Government House of Prince Edward Island - which today serves as the home of the Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island.

Victoria Park

After this, the tour will start to head back toward the starting point by following the Victoria Boardwalk. Along the way guests will pass by the Culinary Institute of Canada, the Queen Charlotte Armoury, the PEI Convention Centre arriving back at Peakes Quay and Confederation Landing for the end of your tour.
