What to expect

You will learn the basic skills used in the Tiffany method. There is a limit of 2 people per class, which enables individual tuition, and each student will take home something unique that they have created that day. The steps we will follow are: 1. Familiarisation of tools. We will learn the tools and their use in order to use them properly in the manufacture of stained glass. 10' 2. Cutting glass and familiarisation of different angles and styles of cutting with clear glass, so that we can practice enough times to be able to use the opals in the next steps. 30' 3. Pattern selection. There are a variety of patterns, suitable for beginners, up to 10 pieces each, so that the student can make it and feel the satisfaction of creativity. 25' 4. Glass selection. Time to choose from a variety of colored opals what to use. 25' 5. Opal cutting with the design pieces - each design piece must be cut in the opal we have chosen. 60' 6. Grinding cut glass edges. The moment we correct and smooth the sides of the pieces we cut. 60' 7. We put copper tape on each piece of glass that we have smoothed. 40' 8. Finally, all the pieces are joined by soldering and it makes the unique design we chose. 35'
