    We loved the sunset snorkelling tour so much, we did it again the next day! 2.5 hours was enough time to visit 3 snorkeling spots ending in watching the beautiful sunset from the boat before returning to Gili T. Sensational turtle and fish watching on Gili Meno, Gili Air and Gili T, and also the statues on Gili Meno. Led by the entertaining Izzy, the crew were fun and experienced, they took amazing pics on their Go Pro and found the best spots for us. A magical experience and incredible value for money.

    The snorkeling was lovely — we saw many turtles and enjoyed the sunset vibes. The tour was organized with several local guides, and overall it was smooth. That said, there was one moment that left a bad taste: a certain guide became a little too friendly with one of us, especially when others weren’t paying attention. We understand that hospitality here can be very warm and close — and usually that’s part of the charm. But in this case, some boundaries were crossed. We hope future interactions can stay respectful and professional, even with the most charming smiles involved 😊

    What to expect

    Sunset Snorkeling starts with gathering at the meeting point at 03.30 pm. After checkin then the tourists will try snorkeling equipment such as Fins, mask and snorkle. At 04.00 pm the trip will begin directly to the first spot, the Statue, for about 45 minutes of snorkeling. The next spot is Turtle Point to see directly the life of turtles in the sea. From Turtle Point the tourists will be taken to Sunset Point to enjoy the sunset view from the boat while snorkeling in the sunset area, Khaliq reef. During the trip, tourists will be given cold mineral water and all trips will be captured with a Gopro Camera where tourists can upload all the pictures and videos after snorkeling is complete. The trip uses a glass bottom boat that only has a maximum capacity of 20 people in the boat.
