    If you’ve ever wanted an interactive and educational sailing adventure this is it! Small group with amazing crew was the perfect adventure. We got to hoist the sail and drive the boat! The snorkeling spots were gorgeous with so much color and sea life. Thank you so much for this very memorable trip!

    Sun wasn’t necessarily out all the time but what a great experience! Raphael and Roland know their island and traditions! We’ve learnt a lot in between snorkeling With turtles, tikis, rays and sharks! Just loved it to take time and learn hot to sail a traditional pirogue!!

    We had the most wonderful trip out with Vaapiti to swim with turtles, sharks and rays, and see a beautiful sunset. We were a family of 6, 2 parents, 2 grandparents and 2 children, 6 and 9. I, the female grandparent dpi seriously NOT like being on or in water; the others love it, but such care was taken to help me and let me do what I felt comfortable with that it couldn’t have been better. The others all swam with the turtles while I photographed them. One of the guys from the catamaran was in the water with everyone, and the other guy, the one who made the boat, was chatting with me. When we got to the rays and sharks, we all got in the water because it was only waist deep. I got scared and went back to the boat and sat on the ladder down to the water. A beautiful sting ray, that was exceedingly curious, swam around us and then lifted itself out of the water, looked at me, and then gently lowered itself along my body, back into the water. It was wonderful; a never-to-be-forgotten experience. Such cafe was taken of all of us, even me, the scaredy cat. On the way back we were given a delicious rum cocktail and yet more fruit if desired. The kids loved the fruit and the adults loved the cocktail. The guys who run this trip are incredibly knowledgable about things and happy to share their knowledge. I’d recommend this to anyone and everyone, especially those who are afraid of the water. I felt perfectly safe at all times and would be incredibly happy to do this again, should we be here again.

    The sunset sail today on Viapiti was among the most unique sailing, sunset and snorkeling excursions that we have ever experienced. Rafael was knowledgable about the best local sights. We swam with sharks and sting rays, sailed, had amazing snacks and fresh fruit and a rum drink treat. We have been on several similar excursions in Hawaii, Costa Rica and Australia, yet this was the most spectacular. Would do again, for sure.
